The Story of New Life Spirit Recovery

Dr. Robert Tucker founded New Life Spirit Recovery in 2004. In its inception it functioned as a Christ-based treatment center located in Huntington Beach, CA. Prior to this, Robert operated sober living homes that housed over 150 men under the ministry New Life Spirit. In both facilities Robert witnessed thousands of lives transformed using simple, but powerful strategies:

  • Provide an environment based on grace that allows for honesty and openness (without judgment).
  • Learn the unfathomable freedom of forgiveness
  • Offer education to understand the inner workings of the body, soul and spirit affected by addiction (addiction comes in many forms).
  • Allow emotional wounds, trauma and hidden pain to be accessed and processed with the healing touch of Jesus
  • Give godly accountability
  • Learn new coping mechanism using the Holy Spirit’s power and love

In 2020, New Life Spirit Recovery transitioned from intensive outpatient treatment in Huntington Beach to outpatient and online services in Temecula, CA through Robert Tucker’s private practice. While we don’t offer sober living homes for on-site rehabilitations stays, we offer 12 week packages and intensives for those that don’t need a structured option (and aren’t actively using drugs or alcohol).

Our area of expertise is pastors, ministry leaders, and those struggling in their identity as a Christian leader. But we work with people in all professions and areas of life that are seeking a Biblical, spirit-led approach to healing.
