Dr. Bob established New Life Spirit Recovery as a vision to provide Christ-centered solutions within a clinical, professional framework. Through his life experience and eventually his clinical background, Dr. Bob is well known and loved in the Christian Recovery community. He has counseled hundreds and hundreds of men and women, watching and witnessing the power of transformation when Jesus is lovingly and powerfully injected into the process. At New Life, he runs the day to day operation and makes sure each client is getting the care, attention and appropriate services required for a successful program. His passion is to meet the clients, hear their stories and then watch the power of transformation and restoration take effect in their lives.  Executive Staff


Dr. Jerry L. Morris, M.D.

Consulting Physician

Substance Use Disorder Treatment involves the body, soul and spirit. It is the role of Dr. Morris to oversee the medical needs and medical diagnosis for clients that choose that service. Dr. Morris has been involved in addiction treatment for several decades. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the addiction dynamic, with previous experience running detox facilities. Dr. Morris has a hands-on approach and concern for everyone that walks into his office.  Executive Staff.

Dr. Scott is a leading Christian holistic doctor in Orange County, CA. He is passionate about seeing men and women align their body with the physical purposes for which it was created. He teaches our clients health and nutritional from a professional and Biblical worldview. We feel blessed to partner with him and his practice to offer services to our clients. He offers a wellness program that involves in depth blood work and nutritional programs that align the body into health as a lifelong solution.

Stephanie oversees the family program at New Life Spirit Recovery, and also directs the sister ministry, Spirit of Life Recovery. She is a recognized author and instructor with a passion for seeing hearts set free and aligned with God’s purposes. She specializes in codependence, family systems and the dynamics of heart healing. Stephanie is married to Robert and helped established New Life Spirit Recovery from the onset.  Executive Staff

Tracy has been with New Life Spirit Recovery for over 13 years where she uses her clinical expertise to facilitate admissions and ongoing client support. Her passion is to see every person that enters New Life receives the best possible care and find the freedom they were seeking the moment they stepped through the door. From coordinating admissions with families, to the intake process, to the long-term sobriety goals, she plays a vital role in walking with clients through this important season of life. She helps oversee client programs and facilitates additional services as needed. She has a passion for implementing relapse prevention strategies and has developed curriculum to give clients the best opportunity to remain clean and sober.

Monica has been a recovery ministry leader for over 29 years and has also co-directed a Celebrate Recovery program for the past eight years. She’s been active in heart healing processes and has a special passion to see woman break free from the destruction of addiction, understanding that they have deeper roots driving that behavior. Added with her professional and clinical experience, her desire is to see the women she works with walk into their God given destiny using body, soul and spirit principles. Monica by nature provides an atmosphere of trust, competence and compassion necessary to perform the work of healing. She began at New Life several years ago and is currently our lead women’s counselor. She also leads our relationship and codependence courses.  Executive Staff


Dr. Daniel Deghi, CADC II, SUDCC-II, LCC, RAS

Daniel carries a rich amount of ministry, pastoral, professional and chaplaincy experience. While he’s worn many hats, his role as a counselor is where all those experiences have allowed him to impact men in the one-on-one setting. Professionally, Dan is clinical supervisor and oversees the counseling processes of the clients. Daniel is able to reach men where they are and use clinical and healing approaches to draw out the rooted issues in their life. With a kind, humble and genuine spirit he sets an atmosphere of safety that allows these deeper issues to be resolved. Daniel has been with New Life for over five years, and in that time has worked with hundreds of men. He also educates our clients in the roles of the family and deeper heart issues related to intimacy and attachment issues.  Executive Staff

Family Counselor

Tina has been an instrumental part of New Life Spirit Recovery for almost ten years. Her role as a family counselor is to meet the family members at their point of need, and facilitate helpful dialogues that will bring healing not only to the client, but to everyone involved. Tina not only operates as our family counselor, but she is the Clinical Director of Spirit of Life Recovery, our sister ministry. She has worked with hundreds of men and women in crisis, providing intervention and walking people through the process of healing with empathy and wisdom.


Lynne Montegary, CATC, CADC-CAS, LCC

Family Counselor/AOL Education Instructor

Certified Drug Alcohol & Addictions Specialist

Lynne brings a long history of working in recovery and primarily teaches our clients about Celebrate Recovery principles. Her keen insight of recovery is driven from both clinical experience as well as seeing the vital needs inside the church. As a Celebrate Recovery leader for many years, it is her desire to connect our clients with ongoing support mechanisms following program completion. Lynne has been with New Life for almost nine years, and her wisdom and compassion cannot be overstated. At our sister ministry, she leads Codependence Workshops and also works one on one in the counseling room.
