- ACADC\’s \”CDAAC\” is a Christian Drug Alcohol & Addictions Counselor Certificate, accredited by ICE and recognized by the Christian community as a certificate of excellence in the Christian Recovery Arena.
- CADTP\’s \”SUDCC\” Substance Use Disorder Certified Counselor is NCCA/ICE accredited and recognized by \”CA-DHCS\”, the California Department of Health Care Services authorizing those certified to provide SUD counseling services within a certified or licensed AOD/SUD treatment facility in the state of CA.
- ACADC is also an approved CEH provider for CCAPP, Breining Institute and the nationally recognized NAADAC.
ACADC Accreditation
ACADCI – College of Addiction & Biblical Studies offers Associate, Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral programs in Addiction & Biblical Studies and is an educational provider for CADTP, The California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals. CADTP is Nationally Accredited through NCCA/ICE and is a California approved Addiction Counselor Certifying Organization. ACADC is also a Continuing Education Provider (#705) for NAADAC, the National Association for Addiction Professionals.
The Substance Abuse Counselor Certificate Program is designed to help individuals acquire the skills and certification necessary to counsel those who suffer from the effects of substance abuse.
The program meets the educational and training requirements established according to regulations from the State of California, Department of Health, Division of Alcohol and Drug Programs. Participants completing this program will be prepared to apply for certification from CADTP.
The Association of Christian Alcohol & Drug Counselors was established as a 501 C-3 non-profit corporation in 2002 with the purpose of educating and equipping Drug, Alcohol & Addictions Counselors in accordance with Biblical principles. ACADC has a certificate program that equips students to become Certified Counselors in the State of California.
ACADC Mission
The mission of ACADC is to train and equip effective counselors, intimate with God and biblical wisdom, having received a quality education within the Addiction Counselor Guidelines published in SAMHSA’s TAP 21 such that the ACADC trained counselor is confident to speak to any condition pertaining the mind, will, and emotions, soul and spirit and encompasses all counselor competencies that drug, alcohol and addiction counselors should have.
